you are.
From download to your first catch in five steps. All you need is an email, a username and a password.
Install it like normal.
On Android, open the downloaded files and follow the prompts. If your phone asks about installing from unknown sources, that's expected. On iOS, sideload the launcher with AltStore or Sideloadly; the FAQ covers the details.
Pick a trainer name.
Any name you like, as long as it's letters and numbers. Pick something you'll be happy to see on a gym.
Set your password — and remember it.
Register with your email, your game username and a password, then sign in to the game with your username and password. Keep the password somewhere safe: there's no email reset yet, so if you get locked out, ask on Discord.
Head outside.
The world reacts to where you are: water, woods, city streets and the time of day all change what you find. Walk, catch, spin and see what turns up.
If something doesn't work
Check the Status page first. If the server is offline, the problem is on my side, not yours. If it's online and the game still won't connect, post in the Discord and we'll help you out.
